Americans spend more on gaming than movies (box office plus DVD/VHS sales), music and video games combined. And with an average annual growth rate of 9 percent since 1991, casino gaming is growing substantially faster than any other sector of the economy!

• $385 billion was wagered on sports in the U.S. in 2003.

• Americans consistently voice support for casino gaming.As reported by the American Gaming Association, even those over the age of 50 say gaming is acceptable for themselves or others at a rate of 81 percent.

• Young Americans aged 21-39 have an even bigger taste for the gaming lifestyle; they support it at a rate of up to 90 percent!
